Merge pull request #2 from shrikeh/feature/make-cleanup-and-force-update-optional

Although I disagree with "this is not an edge case" and I'm strongly believing that server orchestration should either be managed by Ansible or not (rather than a mixture), I still merge this into master as the default remains the same.
